How do you recommend to proceed?

why do you want to change the things in you engine, i think it is easier to change the hole engine to a 1,6l 16V with 125 PS.
do you have any restrictions like our german TÜV were you have to go to present your changes?

What things did you put in your car?
"der Derby86" wrote a possibility to make your polo more powerful.
In the other hand, it´s possible to change some parts or spare parts in your car
with a kit. This kit includes for example a new camshaft, exhaust elbow or a better exhaust system and some optimize things for your control device.
But I have to inform you, that on every changing, for example you have also to change your rear breaking system (from a brake drum to a break disk).

Hello derby, unfortunately in italy there is not yet the tuv, then any change is illegal!
also here is almost impossible to find a polo gti engine, and then I edit my own.
I thought to mount
throttle body
gti,
gti intake manifold,
aftermarket exhaust manifolds 4-2-1,
and maybe cammes 1.4 101
and then map ECU.
what do you think?

I guys! I have founded a new throttlebdy but , i am not sure it is ok for my aua engine .
This throttlebody is at the vw golf mk4 1.6 101 hp!

stefano th choice is, to look for parts in the same year of bilding from your car. You may have problems with your valves and camshapfts but there was a revision from VW an this zylinderhead and the changed parts from the valve train in german caled schlepphebel and they add them if you have this second stage from VW the opportunetys for changing without demaging to the engine wil be limmited. but you can take each throttlebody from VW with egas the four screws have to fit on vour airbox and the tube from the airfilter on the Throtlebody then get the upgreade to the GTI software on your engine management and voila there are more horses but don't vorgett to customize the fuel pressure. fou can facilitate your flyweel to get better throtle response.
a fuel cooling system for the summer could bring you more PS too.
