Aber wär das alles überhaupt nötig gewesen? Der sah von der Basis ja noch Top aus.

The project is going slow at the moment, because i am verry busy with the construction of my house.
And i am verry busy in my garage with the repair of warn out scrolls, and the rebuild of g chargers.
I think the polo project will continiue in the summer of 2011.
Then i have saved some more money because then the house is ready.
The car is now ready to be painted.
I have already a lot of parts for the car, but there is still a lot to be baught.
In the pictures its not so see, but i have also a real cupframe.
And have made a few verry nice copies of it.
One for use for my G40 genesis, and sold one for a polo 2 steilheck diesel G40. (jaap)

The cupframe is interesting.
The cupars had another wheelbase and shockabsorber bearing.
What kind of bearings do you need, with the cupframe, original or special one ?
How much will coast a copy of the cupframe?

The versions that i made are standard with teflon blocks.
The original cupframe still had the original rubbers.
That is the only chage made.
The teflon blocks come standard with the frames, and i have 2 versions of it.
One version is the stand of willems blocks, wheels a little bit forward after lowering the car, these blocks are black.
The other version is the cup stand, the wheels are as far forward as the polo 2 GT G40 cup.
These blocks are green.
The front section is cnc fraised, and the frame is welded together at a construction company.
I have tested and fitted the frames on 5 differend polo's.
And every polo is differend, so the frame is made at the midrange of all 5 the polo's.
So it has to fit on every polo, only when it had no bad exidents.
The frame cost 350 euro, and is not painted.
A powdercoating costs 35 euro's.
An extra set of blocks is 60 euro.
The frames are made in a limmetid badge.
How mutch the sending cost, i have no idea
